Specialties: If you enjoy learning and or challenging yourself in gymnastics, then Mat's Gymnastics is for you. We are a no nonsense non traditional gym, more of an artistic gym as we assist, gymnast, martial artist, dancers, actors, b-boys, trickers, parkour enthusiast, divers, stunt men/women, cheerleaders in mastering techniques. Come work out with like minded people in a friendly and supportive environment. We do not participate in USGF competitions ANYMORE, but we can help you with mastering any level of difficulty tumbling requirement(s) or general aspects of your routine. See Article in picture section which highlights Coach Mori's incredible gymnastic career and expertise. Gymnastics is fun, it's exercise and a great way to release some stress. We offer adult and children classes (6 years and up), private lessons and open practice. Please Note: Our Open Practice Sessions are meant for the experience gymnast/tumbler. The levels include, approved advanced beginner/intermediate and advance. Beginners and novice to gymnastics/tumbling will be required to take our classes where you will learn the fundamentals and core principles of tumbling/gymnastics before granting access to our open practice session. We also have Private Lessons if you prefer to learn on a one to one basis. Contact us for the details. There is absolutely no outside personal training/coaching at our facility. Established in 1976. Mats Gymnastics has been at the same location for over 35 years under the direction and expertise of Olympic Trails participant and master of the sport, Coach Mori. Originally from Japan, coach Mori teaches discipline and perfection. While he no longer teaches children's competitive team gymnastics, he stills enjoys teaching all who want to learn gymnastics both young and those who are a bit seasoned. Coach Mori invites you to drop in to one of his classes or open practices. $20 per class and $8 open practice.
