HZ Food Review: Slyce Pizza Promises A Gourmet Experience In The Comfort Of Your Home

There is something so comforting about pizza. No? Pizzas are a perfect treat, a baked base topped with flavourful sauces, toppings of choice and loads of cheese. Who wouldn't want to relish a hot slice of pizza? If you are someone like me who shares a love-love relationship with pizza then you have landed on the right page. My love for pizza recently made me try pizzas from the newly launched, Slyce Pizza. Brainchild of celebrated chef Zoravar Kalia, Slyce Pizza promises delicious pizzas and I thought of giving them a try.

The Menu
Slyce Pizza's menu is vast, you get to choose from a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. You also get some limited edition pizzas, priced higher than regular ones, with fancier ingredients like lobster, gold leaf among other things.
My Experience
Being a vegetarian, I ordered three different veg pizzas - Swiss Cottage Cheese Pizza, Art Pizza, and Mushroom And Cream Cheese Pizza. For the sides, I opted for the regular Just Garlic garlic bread.
Garlic Bread

Even though it was a home delivery, I was pleasantly surprised when I first munched on the garlic bread. Cheesy, flavourful yet light. Garlic bread is one of the most loved sides and I have tried it at just way too many pizza places. Believe me, this one's different.
Pizzas
Slyce pizzas are charred and that gives it an altogether different flavour. If you are a fan of that smokey flavour, these pizzas will become your go-to. The pizzas came in beautifully designed, colourful vented boxes and I can say they add to the overall experience of enjoying pizza at home.

Interestingly, the pizzas offered at Slyce Pizza are topped with three different cheeses in a certain ratio to give a unique flavour. What I loved the most about pizzas from Slyce was that all of them came with not just one but a range of six complimentary condiments. With each pizza, you get - Pepperoncini, Hot Red Paprika, Toum Sauce, Jalapeno Mayo, Oregano, and Chilli Flakes -, just what you need to make your pizza bespoke. The jalapeno mayo is just the perfect dip for your garlic bread, hot red paprika for chilli lovers and the toum sauce is something you rarely expect with a slice of pizza, garlicky and flavourful.

If you are a pizza lover looking for something different, give this one a try. Enjoy a gourmet food experience in the comfort of your home. You might find the price for some pizzas on the higher side but again that comes down to the gourmet experience the brand is offering. On days you want to treat yourself and budget is not an issue, get some pizzas from Slyce.
