"Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling," a source shared with ET.
The source added that Raquel planned to admit herself before the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion, which was taped back on March 23.
"She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment," the source explained. "Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health."
Raquel's rep also told the site that she is not receiving treatment for substance abuse issues.
Back on March 3, it was revealed that Raquel had been having a months-long affair with Tom, 40, ultimately ending his nearly nine-year relationship with girlfriend Ariana Madix.
Tom recently gave a tell-all interview with Howie Mandel where he talked about the beginning of his affair with Raquel and revealed if they're still together.
